• Really think about what motivates you in your everyday life and how you could develop that in a career – Lloyds Banking Group are looking for people who will bring their passion to work and use their unique interests to help our business and Britain prosper.
• Do your values align to ours? At Lloyds Banking Group, we’re passionate about making a difference together, putting customers first and keeping it simple and we’re looking for people who are too.
• Be yourself when applying to any role, not who you think the organisation wants you to be – authenticity will pay off, because it will ultimately mean that you’ll end up in a role that’s best suited to you and ensure that your employer also has the right person for the job.
•It may sound simple, but be prepared for all stages of your assessment – there are ample resources for you to prepare for your online tests, video interview, and assessment centre (if you’re applying to one of our graduate leadership programmes). Use these resources to help make you feel prepared, confident and a little more relaxed through each stage of the process.
•Do your research! The more you know about the organisation and the industry you apply to, the better you will do throughout the assessment process.
