Solution Architect (Customer Systems Focused)

Location: Remote

RS Group is seeking an adept Solutions Architect to join our dynamic Strategy and Architecture team, focusing on projects centered around Customer Management and Data. Joining forces with our vibrant product, engineering, data, operations, and digital community, you'll contribute to designing, developing, and operating RS' global digital services. Our team engages in cutting-edge product advancements and enterprise initiatives, crafting the necessary technology solutions to bolster these innovations.

What you'll be doing
  • Crafting architecture and overall designs for pivotal/strategic projects, aligning with Enterprise Architects' outputs and delineating boundaries for subsequent engineering team deliverables.
  • Upholding and actively engaging in robust governance processes related to conceptual, logical, and physical architectures for application/technology solutions.
  • Facilitating the decision-making process for critical designs, ensuring comprehensive stakeholder involvement.
  • Effectively communicating the rationale and consequences of key architectural decisions to senior management stakeholders.
  • Contributing to cross-functional Design Working Groups to discuss, finalize, and disseminate essential design elements.
  • Ensuring that programs, projects, and initiatives align with and adhere to documented Architectural governance processes.
  • Offering mentorship and guidance to less experienced Solution Architecture team members.

About you

The ideal Solutions Architect will exhibit a fervor for technology and the holistic process of crafting superior solutions. This involves expertise in code, software, products, platforms, people, and processes. Your proficiency in the latest engineering and architecture techniques, coupled with collaboration among internal teams, vendors, and partners, will drive optimal outcomes.

You will bring the following:
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, showcasing expertise in design methodologies, diagrams, analysis, and specifications.
  • Understand and knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Customer Data Platform (CDP) systems.
  • Proficiency in large enterprise customer management architectures and customer data
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Marketing Technology platforms focusing on campaigns and personalization.
