Location: This role is offered on a permanent basis. It is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our Corby or London offices.

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Internal Control Lead to join our team.

We are part way through an Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) programme to improve and embed our key financial processes and controls framework for the RS Group.

What you will be doing:

You will support promoting the culture of financial controls risk awareness by influencing the entire Group about the importance of following and documenting processes and controls, so much so that they become part of our business-as-usual mindset.

A key part of the role is providing ongoing advice, guidance, and training on financial controls to finance and non-finance people of all levels across the Group.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment where your expertise will help drive positive change within RS.

About you:
  • Qualified accountant with experience gained in a dynamic and professional international business.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proactive desire to add value and improve existing processes.
  • Knowledge of what good processes and controls look like and the desire to quickly become an expert in 2LOD and ICFR.
  • Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
