We are looking for a highly motivated technical program manager to join the Data Science and Reporting team supporting the Expedia Travel and Partner Services Platform (TPSP) and play a pivotal role in driving initiatives and roadmap by collaborating across teams, organizations, and global locations. You will get an exposure of working with Product, Business Operations and Engineering teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing intake process, leading Governance process, performing analysis for our team and presenting findings in front of the stakeholders across the Expedia Group major brands (Brand Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Wotif, CheapTickets, Hotel.com, Vrbo, EPS). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to thrive in fast paced environment.

Who You Are:
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into unambiguous analytic problem statements and design analytical frameworks to address them.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business, product and operational requirements and build solutions.
  • Manage high visibility projects including Jira intake, perform impact analysis of metric changes and communicate the complex metric changes to leadership in a clear and simple manner.
  • Solid experience in data visualization using Tableau or similar tools along with Analytics expertise.
  • Highly proficient in SQL and Experience with basic coding skills.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize among conflicting demands in a fluid environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Bachelor's or Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or in a related technical field
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in product/business analytics and program management
  • Outstanding analytics ability, expert in SQL and understanding of data relationships
  • Experience in extracting, sampling and visualization of large data sets using SQL, Tableau
  • Take initiative to identify current and potential problems and determine the best solution. Involve and/or manage the people and resources if required
  • Coordinate bringing together different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop solutions to issues and contribute your own suggestions
  • Capability to quickly grasp business context & execute with strategic approaches
  • Proactively contributes to cross team collaboration and leads alignment of work with broader initiatives
  • Can clearly, concisely and optimally communicate across all levels within the organization, deliver presentations, share information and ideas with others, listen carefully and consider what others have to say, including differing viewpoints
  • Ability to own projects end-to-end: building out timelines, key milestones, provide regular updates to stakeholders and delivery against agreed upon spec
  • Proactively and directly engages with partners to assess existing and upcoming project needs and maintains regular communication on progress
