An innovation, design, and transformation powerhouse

Disruption is everywhere, intensifying the need for businesses to fully embrace transformation opportunities and reinvent themselves fast. There is an imperative to constantly be more efficient, resilient, sustainable, human-centric, and data driven. Evolving societal expectations are also accelerating the need for more purpose-led organisations that deliver meaningful connections with customers and employees.

By combining strategy, technology, data science, creative design, and engineering expertise with an inventive mindset, we partner with our clients to innovate and transform their business, enabling them to navigate today, while plotting a course for the future.

From visionary CEOs seeking the next market disruptor to CMOs reimagining engagement, we engage with CxO’s to accelerate from ideation to prototype to scalable products, services, and experience. As part of Capgemini, we challenge and transform the status quo, drive growth, and help them get the future they want.

“A business of the future must think beyond competitive advantage to true, long-lasting value. We are inventing futures that are relevant, resilient, and sustainable. We help visionary leaders shape the future of business.”

Shaping the future is a team effort

Staying at the forefront of innovation, spearheading real sustainable progress, and impacting the lives of millions takes the collaborative effort of all kinds of innovators. Combining the unique strengths of strategists and transformers, creative designers, data specialists, engineers, technologists, and so many more, we strive to create an environment in which each and every one of us can thrive, grow, and deliver the impact that will help us succeed together.

We’re breaking down barriers to a better future.

At Capgemini, we believe a workplace where everyone feels valued for who they are isn’t just a powerful moral responsibility – it’s also a source of competitive advantage. By having a diverse workforce that represents our society, and by fostering an inclusive culture, we’re building a place where our people can thrive.

That’s why we’re working with global and local organisations and our own employees to ensure we create equal opportunities for all, address bias in the workplace, and equip all our managers with the skills to be truly inclusive leaders.

“IT IS OUR CONVICTION THAT A DIVERSE, EQUITABLE, AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT MAKES FOR A MORE RESILIENT, AGILE, AND SUCCESSFUL COMPANY.”

Shobha Meera, Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer

Building an inclusive environment

From inclusion surveys and unconscious bias training to internal global employee networks and engagement initiatives, we seek to understand the needs, and hear the voices, of all our people.

Accelerating gender equality in tech

Women are key to shaping the future of the digital economy, whether in technology, business, or client-facing roles.

We have launched an ambitious program focused on improving female representation in recruiting, providing mentoring opportunities, and supporting women at key moments in their professional and personal lives. We have committed to having women make up 40% of our workforce by the end of 2025, with 30% female representation on our executive leadership teams. Right now, 30% of vice president-level promotions and new hires are women.

Tackling racism at all levels

As a founding member of the World Economic Forum’s Partnering for Racial Justice in Business initiative, we are committed to building an equitable environment for professionals from under-represented minorities and eradicating racism in the workplace.

In the UK, for example, we have signed the Race at Work Charter from Business in the Community, an organisation dedicated to responsible business. While in the US, we have created the Inclusion Leadership Advisory Council to promote the representation and advancement of black, Hispanic, and Asian employees globally.

Improving the integration of people with disabilities and neurodivergences

Capgemini is part of Valuable 500, a global network of CEOs committed to the inclusion of individuals with physical or mental impairments.

This partnership promotes better workplace accessibility, providing support for caregivers, and offering several programs encouraging the hiring of people with limitations and ensuring equal opportunities for them.

Building an LGBT+ friendly culture

Capgemini facilitates a safe environment that respects all sexual orientations: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer along with their allies. Since 2007, we have been expanding our OUTfront global employee network, whose mission is to provide a forum for education and awareness supporting the professional growth and recognition of LGBT+ people. OUTfront currently operates in 21 countries.

Empowering inclusive leadership

As of 2021, our managers and executives participate in inclusive leadership training, including a workshop on unconscious bias, to develop new mindsets and behaviors. This training is designed to help our people to recognize any biases they have, understand the impact they have on decision-making, and address them in order to ensure an inclusive and productive culture.

The future? Bring it on

Leading innovation and transformation means constantly being ahead of the game in terms of digital trends, driving true disruption, and adapting to circumstances that change at an ever-accelerating pace. Our recipe for success? Agility, entrepreneurial spirit, and hunger for growth – and a finger on the pulse of change. An important part of these efforts: A powerful career framework, exciting opportunities for personal and professional growth, and leading-edge on- and off-the-job learning offers.
