Who we are
Network Rail High Speed Ltd. (NRHS) is responsible for operating and maintaining the UKs only international high-speed railway, High Speed (HS1).
The 109km HS1 infrastructure consists of a diverse range of railway assets such as the track, signalling, overhead line, lineside buildings, depots, viaducts and long tunnels. NRHS is also responsible for operating and maintaining three international stations; St Pancras, Stratford and Ebbsfleet International.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd, NRHS is privately financed under an agreement with our client HS1 Ltd, undertaking a diverse range of activities from railway infrastructure maintenance and operations - through to station facilities management and retail on behalf of our client.

Brief Description
The role
We are looking for a Retail Asset Manager to lead the Network Rail High Speed retail team and operations across all of our High Speed stations. You will be responsible for delivering annual targets through the development and implementation of a retail asset strategy, focusing on optimisation of income, tenant credit control, maintenance and investment resulting in improvement to the retail portfolio and enhancement of customer experience.

The person
So, who are we looking for? If you can answer yes to the following questions, then we look forward to receiving your application:
- Do you have solid experience in a senior management role (asset managing a shopping centre or station)?
- Can you provide demonstrable examples where you have achieved meeting profit targets (within a competitive environment)?
- Are you a proven high level negotiator?
- Do you have excellent presentation and communication skills?
- Do you have exceptional line management skills?
Although it isnt essential, if you were a member (or fellow member) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS this would be an added bonus. If you also have experience in retail development, even better!
