Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a mechanical background? If so then we have a 6-12 month opportunity for you.
We are looking for someone to lead improvements of 4 similar machines to increase efficiency and improve reliability. You will work alongside our maintenance and operations teams to understand the issues that are occurring with the current equipment, suggest process improvement plans and standardisation to reduce equipment down time to increase productivity.
You will support a team that is in charge of service, repair and maintenance to these machines ensuring that they are fully trained and aware on how to maintain the equipment correctly to prevent re-occurring issues.
A secondary part of this role will be to work on a URS for new automated equipment to replace existing equipment, this may involve writing a URS for tender and executing FAT, IQ, OQ & PQ documentation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem solving and route cause analysis to prevent machine failure. This will be a key role in reducing down time within the Nelson plant and increasing production and efficiency.
